paper

Paper is an everyday and essential piece of human technology which holds enormous expressive possibilities.

Two children sit on a piece of cardboard (once a box) we can just see that a third child is pushing the cardboard
If we imagine children's encounter with paper, we can shift beyond the adult view of function and glimpse toward the potential it offers; absorbing, folding, ripping and transforming. This exploratory and experiential process builds our relationship with paper beyond it being a surface to create on.
